WHO WE ARE
SILVIA PANCERI is a stylist and art-buyer, born and raised in Milan. She studied Philosophy and Literature at the University of Milan from 1983 to 1988. Beginning her career at a young age, she started working in the fashion industry for Gianni Versace and Gianfranco Ferré in the '80s. She collaborated with Gianfranco Ferré from 1993 to 1996 for his collections of accessories, leather goods and footwear. Starting in 1998, Silvia worked for Cerruti in the textile and accessory departments, coordinating both menswear and womenswear for the collection “Cerruti Arte e Cerruti 1881” at both Italian and international shows and catwalks. She was involved on the projects and events for the launch of the perfume Cerruti Sì in collaboration with Unilever Paris. Silvia has worked as a stylist and art-buyer for photography, collaborating with international advertising agencies, companies, and photographers since 1996. In 1999 she founded the company X Studio SAS, where she continues to serve as the CEO. X Studio is a creative hub offering photography and video services, as well as styling and art-buying consulting. From 2009, Silvia was the Creative Director at Parma Couture, working on the Classe Ducale menswear collection for five years. As an Art-buyer and Stylist, she tirelessly researches objects and materials to create increasingly sophisticated images that satisfy both her taste and the demanding eye of clients across the most varied product sectors. Silvia continues to collaborate with some of the most important brands and advertising agencies in Italy and worldwide.
MAURO GALBIATI is a Creative Director born in Milan in 1964. He studied Advertising Communication at the prestigious design school IED - Instituto Europeo di Design in Milan. He began his career as an Illustrator and Art Director in 1985, working at various advertising agencies in Milan. Starting in 1988, Mauro worked for Euro RSCG where he served as Senior Art Director for over ten years before being promoted to Creative Director in 2000. There, he was able to work on advertising campaigns for renowned brands like Citroen, TDK, Philips, Nestlè, Cote d’Or etc. In 2002 he co-founded the publishing company Y.Press, dealing with the digitalisation and publishing of rare antique books. Mauro worked on the project “Federico da Montefeltro and his Library” which was showcased as an exhibition at the Morgan Library & Museum in New York. In 2004 he co-founded and served as Chief Creative Director of his advertising agency Mignani Pinter Galbiati, collaborating and working on ADV Campaigns, ranging in size and medium for numerous clients. As of 2008 Mauro works as a consultant Creative Director as well as a freelance Prop Stylist and Illustrator, collaborating with some of the most prestigious advertising agencies in Italy and abroad. The three professions that are part of his career background - Advertiser, Illustrator and Prop Stylist - have enabled him to face brand related issues from a multitude of angles. Mauro can therefore seek the most suitable strategic and stylistic solution and follow it, maintaining a special attention to every detail throughout the creative process from inception to realization. His distinct originality is best expressed in the construction of images that don’t respect the conventional criteria of communication.
